A great year was concluded by a warm handover ceremony over, where members and their families celebrated the accomplishments of the year and were recognized by P. Ghazi Dabbas
The meeting started by welcoming for the spouses, club guests and Rotarians from different clubs. Afterwards, P. Ghazi Dabbas delivered a sincere speech in which P. Dabbas summarized the achievements of the year. P. Ghazi also thanked and recognized the efforts of all those who worked closely with him during his mandate. Moreover, P. Jeries Shahin delivered a speech outlining his plan for the RY 2018-2019.
Added to that, District Governor Elect Shawkat Tadros addressed the participants and highlighted the main objectives of the coming year and the major rotary events that Jordan will be hosting in the upcoming year such as the Rotary Zone 20B Institute Conference, which will be held at the Dead Sea during 5-10 Nov 2018.
Furthermore, Mr. Musab Abu Taha was introduced as our new member during the said Ceremony.
In addition to that, the club featured the signing of a MoU between our club and "A Global Voice for Autism" which is an American NGO focusing on autism. The MoU aims to work on a project to train families and teachers on dealing with autistic children, having the village of Hartha as a pilot
