It is the duty of the municipality to ensure a safety and health environment for its residents. That was topic of the interesting presentation made by Dr. Mervat Mheirat, the Deputy City Manager for Health and Agriculture Affairs
Dr. Mervat explained the role of Greater Amman Municipality in monitoring the health sectors in general and restaurants in particular to provide the citizens with a healthy atmosphere and ensuring the sector's compliance with international standards in food and health. The speech was followed by an interesting discussion about the role of the municipality in that regards and the various inspection activities. Dr. Mervat was sincerely appreciated by the club for her valuable time and interesting speech.
